(in order of occurrence) April 21 & 22, 2006 - Kelowna, BC 1st ANNUAL BC CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATOR'S CONVENTION Susan Wise Bauer is the author of a "Well Trained Mind" a book which I refer to as my homeschooling "bible". This book is a guide for those who wish to follow a classical education in their homeschool. Although I find the schedule Bauer outlines for students to be a little overwhelming I love many of the philosophies and believe that they can be implemented in any homeschool ennviornment. I am looking forward and hoping to get a chance to go to this conference and be inspired once again in my homeschool.
